Chanda holds an A.A.S. in Business Administration through Northwestern Michigan College right here in beautiful Traverse City and has spent a majority of her career in business accounting with her most recent experience in property management.
Chanda comes from a military family. Her father, 3rd class petty officer and shellback. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Boston CAG-1 and was a part of the Fox Division during the Cuban Missile Crisis, did 3 trips to the Mediterranean, and several through the Bermuda Triangle just to name a few. Chanda is very committed to her veterans, military, and their families because she knows firsthand the sacrifices these brave men, women, and their families make each and everyday!
As a native to the Greater Grand Traverse Area, Chanda enjoys all that the great outdoors has to offer, including kayaking, fishing, hunting, snowshoeing, and hiking. She also enjoys spending time with her husband of more than 23 years, and their two boys.
